Here's how to spend one full day in Delray Beach the way locals do, with pizza bookending the best parts.

Morning: the beach or the market

Start with an early walk on the beach before the sun gets strong. On a Saturday in season, head to the GreenMarket at Old School Square, open 9 AM to 2 PM.

Lunch: the Pizza Lab

The Lab on Congress Ave opens at 11 AM. Grab Roman-style slices or a Crudo Kiss schiacciata with prosciutto, arugula, steak tomatoes and fior di latte.

Afternoon: Atlantic Avenue

Walk Delray's main street from downtown toward the ocean. Shops, galleries and plenty of shade when you need it.

Evening: mini golf and a pie
